CARETAKER / SITE SUPERVISOR – PART TIME - MULTI SITE ROLE

Are you a hands-on, self-motivated individual looking for a part-time role that fits around your life? We're hiring a Part-Time Caretaker / Site Supervisor to join our growing team, based across our Allenby and Sunningdale sites with occasional cover across surrounding areas.

The Role
Working 12 hours per week, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of our self storage facilities ensuring sites are opened on time, well-maintained, and delivering a great experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations
- Open and prepare the site each shift, ensuring everything is ready for customers on time
- Carry out daily health & safety checks and sign these off digitally via tablet or smartphone
- Conduct leaflet drops and assist with local store promotion during the initial setup phase
Customer Service
- Be the friendly, professional first point of contact for customer queries and transactions
- Build positive customer relationships and handle feedback or complaints with confidence
- Escalate issues appropriately when required
Maintenance & Facilities
- Inspect storage units before and after rentals and prepare them for incoming customers
- Identify and log maintenance issues using our management software
- Carry out general maintenance duties and upkeep to keep the site in top condition
- Implement and uphold company Health & Safety policies at all times
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or site supervisor role
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (essential)
- Solid understanding of health & safety practices
- Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for daily reporting
- Strong organisational skills & able to manage workload with minimal supervision
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- A proactive, flexible, and personable approach to work
- A team player who understands the importance of great customer service
Package
- Salary: £8,405.28 per annum (pro-rata from a full-time equivalent of £26,226.50)
- Permanent, part-time contract — 12 hours per week
- No Sundays or Bank Holidays
