Overview
About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Software Engineer to join our team at C365Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and parsing data from PDF documents and mapping it accurately into our database in line with agreed client specifications. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of the C# code that powers our templating process. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in data processing and compliance technology.

Key Responsibilities

Extract and parse structured data from PDF documents in accordance with defined specifications
Map and input extracted data accurately into the database, ensuring consistency and completeness
Work with XML to structure and validate data during the extraction and templating process
Write, maintain, and debug C# code to support and automate the templating workflow
Identify and flag discrepancies between source documents and specifications
Collaborate with team members and senior analysts to resolve data and code queries
Continuously develop your understanding of client specifications and templating standards
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of templating processes and quality standards

Skills & Experience

A working knowledge of C# - able to read, write, and debug basic code
A working knowledge of XML - understanding of structure, tags, and data formatting
Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach to data handling
Experience with data entry or document processing is desirable but not essential
Comfortable working with PDF documents and extracting information from varied formats
Good IT literacy and the ability to learn internal systems and tools quickly
Able to follow detailed written specifications and work to a consistent standard
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
