Experienced Bar Staff Required – Oxford College Ball

£15.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced bar staff to join our team for one of Oxford's prestigious college balls on 27th June.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a high-profile private event in a unique and historic setting, delivering excellent service to guests throughout the evening. We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, and hard-working individuals who are comfortable working in a busy bar environment and take pride in providing outstanding customer service.

The role will primarily involve serving beer, pouring pints, serving wine, and maintaining an efficient and well-presented bar operation throughout the event. While cocktail knowledge is not essential, previous bar experience is highly desirable, as the event can be fast-paced during peak service periods.

Available Shifts

6:00pm – 3:00am (9-hour shift)
6:00pm – 6:00am (12-hour shift)

Key Responsibilities

Serving guests in a professional and friendly manner
Pouring and serving draught beer efficiently
Serving wine and other beverages
Processing orders quickly and accurately
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
Supporting fellow team members to ensure smooth service throughout the event
Adhering to licensing regulations and responsible alcohol service standards

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working behind a bar
Strong customer service and communication skills
A positive attitude and professional appearance
The ability to work effectively under pressure
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Confidence working as part of a team in a busy event environment
