Full job description

Permanent | Full Time

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to support the Mental Health Support Team within our friendly administration team.

You will manage your own workload, including booking appointments and maintaining waiting lists in line with Trust standards and the Access Policy. Working closely with clinicians and colleagues, you will help make effective use of clinic capacity and support the service to meet local and national waiting time targets.

A key part of the role is coordinating clinics and actively managing waiting lists. You will also provide day-to-day support and guidance to Booking Coordinators where needed, ensuring a consistent approach to patient scheduling.

Reporting into the Operational Support Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

Manage clinic bookings, cancellations, and changes in line with departmental guidelines

Coordinate and rearrange patient appointments to meet Trust waiting time targets

Adjust clinic templates to maximise capacity and effective use of slots

Maintain and monitor waiting lists to ensure patients are seen within target dates

Monitor clinic utilisation and escalate issues to support timely remedial action

Circulate departmental information, including clinic cancellations
