About Us

Scole Inn Hotel is a family-run business that prides itself on delivering a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. We are looking for dedicated Housekeeping Staff to help ensure our rooms and public areas remain clean, comfortable, and inviting.

Role Overview

Our Housekeeping team plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. This role is offered on a zero-hour contract, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible work within a friendly hotel environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hardworking, reliable, and passionate about creating a welcoming experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard
Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as needed
Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, including corridors and lounges
Report any damages, maintenance issues, or lost property to management
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Work efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for guest check-in on time
Assist with laundry duties when required

What We’re Looking For

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred, but not essential
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
Reliability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Availability for flexible shifts on a zero-hour contract basis
