What skills and experience we're looking for:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team here at Kirton Lane Primary School. We have opportunities to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils in their learning, development and wellbeing.

We are looking for candidates who are:

Proactive and able to use their initiative
Kind, caring and committed to supporting every child

Strong communicators who can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
Effective team players who enjoy working collaboratively

The closing date for applicants will be: Monday 22nd June at noon.

Shortlisting: Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th June.

Further information about the job

The candidates will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.

Working closely with class teachers and wider staff
Helping to create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment
Promoting independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing
Forge positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop excellent professional relationships with children, staff and parents.
Understand that, like adults, all children are different and therefore have individual needs and every child has the right to succeed to the best of their ability.
Identify and enact ways to support all children, particularly children with social and emotional needs.
Demonstrate a shared commitment to raising standards in all that we do.
Be open minded and committed to continually improve their practice.
Be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to also work individually using their own initiative.
Be committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity.
