Job Description – Dessert Assistant (And Delivery)

Sinple Treats is a dessert bar/cafe in the city centre of Doncaster, right across from the train station. We are looking for one confident, reliable, and outgoing individual to come join us as a Dessert Assistant! This job will require you to have a car that you are able to use for odd deliveries as a back up to our drivers. We would only expect you to do a couple of deliveries a day and you would be paid extra per delivery if and when required. (No delivery experience required)

Our store opened in March 2023 and has quickly rose in popularity over the last couple of years, offering a menu and service like no other. We pride ourselves on our great reputation and are ready to take on more staff! Currently across all platforms we are one of the highest rated restaurant in Doncaster, so it is important that you are driven to provide and deliver 110%.

We are looking for individuals who have:

1) A keen interest and a passion for desserts

2) A strong customer service background

3) Excellent communications skills

4) Able to work unsupervised at times/show great initiative

5) Serve customers and support delivery drivers

6) Able to drive and are willing to deliver, (No experience required)

The role of Dessert Assistant will require great flexibility between back and front of house tasks, managing multiple ordering systems, prepping, cooking, serving coffee, cleaning tasks and potentially assisting in delivery.

It is highly beneficial to have experience of working in a similar fast-paced, food environment. Customer service is of the utmost importance to us - You will be required to provide customer service to an exceptional standard, whilst preparing and cooking products such as brownies, cookies, waffles, milkshakes and coffee, whilst adhering to strict hygiene processes. Evening and weekend availability is required in all cases - You will need to be able to work until closing times in most cases.

Driving License required.

Store opening hours:

1pm - 10:30pm Weekdays

12pm - 11pm Weekends

Full training provided and potential to grow within the business to full time positions. We are also looking at adding a salaried team leader role which will be offered to any hardworking and aspiring team members prior to being advertised.

Job Type: Part-time

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
