Full job description

Are you an experienced hospitality professional ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a confident, hands-on Deputy Manager to help lead our busy seafront pub.

Working alongside the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting the team, and helping drive sales and standards.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the General Manager with daily operations
Leading, motivating, and developing the team
Delivering exceptional customer service
Managing shifts and ensuring smooth service
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and cash handling
Helping recruit, train, and retain team members

What we're looking for:

Previous supervisory or management experience in a busy pub, bar, or restaurant
A positive, can-do attitude with strong leadership skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexible approach to evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Personal licence holder preferred (but not essential)
