Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, reliable friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence. Applicants MUST be aged over 21yrs old, have both bar AND waiting experience, have suitable transport given our rural location

Responsibilities

Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
Serving food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
Preparing basic food items and drinks as required, adhering to food safety regulations
Managing cash transactions and processing payments accurately using the POS system
Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, counters, and bar stations
Assisting with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
Providing exceptional guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests courteously and proactively

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Good numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating positive dining experiences
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
