Join Our Nursery Team as a Kitchen Assistant/Lunchtime cover – Immediate Start

Little Wishes Day Nursery – Worcester

We’re growing quickly and looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Lunchtime cover to join our high-quality nursery where staff feel valued, supported, and part of a friendly team.

About the Role

Support the onsite cook at Little Rainbows with preparing healthy meals daily
Ensure food is prepared safely, following hygiene standards and dietary requirements
Work closely with the nursery team to provide nutritious meals that children enjoy
Transport hot food from one nursery to Little Wishes (short ten-minute drive)
30 Hours per week
Supporting our practices with lunch cover
Washing up, light cleaning and preparing healthy snacks and light teas.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in cooking for groups of children or similar settings is ideal
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (training provided if needed)
Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures
A friendly, professional attitude and good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive environment

Training & Support Provided
