Josh’s Care Company is proud to have received a Good rating across Safe, Effective, Caring and Responsive, with Outstanding leadership (Well-led) in our most recent CQC inspection.

The Role: Complex Care Support Worker.

Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £14.50 once signed off competent

Location: Sheffield S8

Shift Pattern: The Ideal candidate will be flexible for days and nights.

Package 1 - Saturdays 2pm – 8pm, Term time Mon and Wed 4:30pm – 8:30pm.

None term time Mon and Wed 12:30pm – 8pm

Please note, we provide 24 hours around the clock care so they will mainly include 12-hour shifts and will include days, waking nights and alternative weekends.

Contract Type: Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the below contracts:

Package 1 – Part time – 18 Hours none term time, 16 hours term time

DBS: Preferred / update service desirable
Driver with access to a vehicle: desirable

Our team of skilled professionals offers around-the-clock, specialised care for people with spinal cord injuries and other complex needs. We are now looking for like-minded professionals to join us in providing top-quality care that truly makes a difference.
It’s important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there may be occasional opportunities to work across other packages within the area.

The People in Sheffield:

Package 1 –

Providing compassionate, person-centred care to a young adult with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. You will support with PEG feeding, Ventilation at night, occasional suctioning to manage secretions as well as assisting with moving and handling using safe, approved techniques. This young man likes listening to music, spending time with his family and going outside when the weather is nice.

Training

A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential, as you’ll be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our clients’ quality of life.

Ability to workdays, waking nights, and alternate weekends
A current DBS if possible (paper or update service preferred)
A driving licence (preferred)
