**NOTE SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE**

EXPERIENCED CNC + SLIDING HEAD PROGRAMMER SETTER OPERATOR

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EXPERIENCED PROGRAMMER SETTER OPERATOR to join one of the UKs award winning leading manufacturers of High-Quality Special Fasteners.

We are looking for someone with proven previous experience setting, operating, and programming sliding head machines and CNC machines two people required.

The ideal candidates must

Be able to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, caliper gauges, verniers etc.
Experience programming, setting and CNC head machines.
Machine a wide range of components to tight tolerances ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards.
Select machine tools to produce components to drawings and specifications.
Must be able to demonstrate a good level of understanding technical engineering drawings for turned or threaded parts.
Adjusting existing programmes.
Programming of new jobs on the machine
Maintaining a level of self-inspection throughout a batch.
Working within a team on the section and can use own initiative.
It is essential that the right candidate is happy to work on different machines depending on where they are required.

Benefits:

overtime
34 days holiday including bank holidays pro-rata.
Pay care scheme after probational period.

Only Experienced applicants need only apply.

Hours are Monday - Thursday 7 - 4

Friday 7 - 3.45

Salary Negotiable depending on experience.
