Full job description

At Duchess Lounge, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional treatments and outstanding customer experiences in a luxury salon environment. We are looking for a confident, polished and professional Receptionist to become the face of our salon and help ensure every client receives a five-star experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves people, thrives in a busy environment and has a genuine interest in the beauty industry.

Working Hours

* Wednesday: 3.00pm – 7.30pm

* Thursday: 3.00pm – 7.30pm

* Friday: 9.00am – 7.30pm

* Saturday: 8.30am – 4.30pm

26.5 hours per week

The Role

As the first and last point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for creating a warm welcome, managing bookings, supporting the salon team with a variety of tasks and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the salon.

Responsibilities

* Welcoming clients and delivering exceptional customer service

* Managing appointment bookings and client enquiries

* Answering calls, emails and online messages

* Processing payments and daily cashing up

* Promoting salon services and retail products

* Maintaining client records and appointment schedules

* Supporting the wider team including the senior salon manager to ensure smooth salon operations

* Keeping reception and client areas immaculate and professional

About You

* Previous reception, front-of-house or customer service experience is essential

* Experience within a beauty, hair, spa or wellness environment is preferred

* Friendly, professional and well-presented

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Highly confident and experienced with technology, booking systems and social media

* Passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences

Please note: This position is not suitable for students due to the fixed working hours and long-term commitment required.
