Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be able to work effectively with various tools and equipment. This role requires a commitment to high-quality service and the ability to troubleshoot and repair vehicles efficiently. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and equipment to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
Assemble parts and systems according to schematics and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.

Experience
The successful candidate should have:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as part of the job requirements.
