Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate, skilled fully qualified Butcher to join our dynamic culinary team. We are a busy, family-run butcher shop looking to welcome a reliable, enthusiastic, and trustworthy butcher to join our friendly team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality food items, ensuring exceptional standards of food safety, and delivering an outstanding dining experience. Your culinary expertise and dedication will help create a vibrant atmosphere where fresh ingredients and innovative techniques come together to delight our guests. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes
Assist in food production processes, including chopping, portioning, and cooking ingredients according to established recipes
Execute food preparation tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
Support butchery tasks by breaking down meats and preparing cuts as required for menu items
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe kitchen environment
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations

Skills

Proven experience in food production or culinary roles within a restaurant or similar setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Experience with butchery and handling various meats
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for sanitation
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
