Recycling Coordinator/Forklift Truck Driver

Shift: 3 days on/ 3 days off 0600-1800

£14.30 per hour/ weekly pay

Overview

We are looking for a proactive Recycling Coordinator and Forklift Truck Driver to join our team. This role combines overseeing recycling operations with the safe and efficient handling of materials . If you enjoy working outdoors, and supporting environmental sustainability, this position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and responsible organization.

Responsibilities

Ensure the efficient collection and delivery of items across site daily.
Support recycling activities to maintain high environmental and operational standards.
Handle and store chemicals safely, in full compliance with legislation and company procedures.
Maintain yard cleanliness and organisation, supporting wider business operations.
Carry out general housekeeping, gardening, and site maintenance tasks.
Always operate safely and effectively, following site rules and health & safety policies.
Take ownership of your work area and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

A good communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks.
Confident, proactive, and forward-thinking in approach.
Competent in basic computer use and record-keeping.
Ideally experienced in a production or manufacturing environment (not essential).
Fluent in English with good literacy and numeracy skills.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Valid Forklift Licence – desirable but not essential (training available)
Recent FLT driving experience – desirable but not essential
