A dynamic and forward-thinking medium size firm based in Brentford (West London) is looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a rapidly expanding and friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious candidates looking to further advance their knowledge, skillset, and experience.Our firm offers a wide range of accounting services, works with an extensive range of clients in different industries, and uses numerous independent leading software packages.The firm operates with an excellent working culture, promoting a real team ethic within a highly supportive environment for all staff members and ideal candidate would be an ambitious and driven individual who is looking to further their career within accountancy to lead to managing a portfolio of clients as they progress in their role.

Job Requirements

Client Bookkeeping
Completion of VAT returns
Processing client Payroll
Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts with supporting schedules and reconciliations
Preparation of CIS returns
Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparation of self-assessment personal tax returns
Preparation of corporation tax computations/CT600

Job Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of small to medium size businesses and contractors.
Provide accounting, tax, and strategic planning advice to our clients to help them grow their businesses.
Review stat accounts, VAT, tax, and management accounts, prepared by the accounts department for your clients.
Provide advice, coaching, and share your technical knowledge with junior staff.
Provide coaching to clients on their business accounting systems and processes.

What is on offer?

Salary £30,000-£40,000 (DOE).
Holidays 22 days per annum plus normal statutory Bank Holidays.

Subsidise gym membership.
