Job Title: After-School Club Practitioner

Location: Ealing, London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM

About Us: We are a vibrant and inclusive after-school club dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. Our mission is to support each child's development through creative and recreational activities.

Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as After-School Club Practitioners. This role is ideal for both qualified practitioners and those aspiring to complete their Level 2 or 3 qualifications in childcare. Opportunities for additional shifts during breakfast, lunch, and holiday camps are available.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children during after-school hours.
Plan and lead a variety of creative, educational, and recreational activities tailored to different age groups.
Foster positive social interactions and teamwork among children.
Assist with homework and provide support for academic activities.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure a safe environment for all children.

Qualifications:

For Qualified Practitioners: Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) and experience working with children aged 4-11.
For Unqualified Applicants: A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to completing a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification. We encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements. Research suggests that qualified individuals may self-select out of opportunities if they don't meet 100% of the job requirements. We encourage individuals who believe they have the skills necessary to thrive to apply for this role.
