Full job description

Boughton Lodge Care Home is a warm and welcoming facility dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for our residents. We understand the importance of maintaining a clean and comfortable environment to ensure their well-being. We are currently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and help us maintain a clean and hygienic living space for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the care home.
Clean and sanitise residents' rooms, common areas, and other designated areas.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as necessary.
Maintain the care home's high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
Handle and dispose of waste properly and in compliance with regulations.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate attitude.
