Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Operative and Driver to join our team in East Kilbride. This role is vital in supporting our projects through efficient groundworks and transportation. This is a hands-on role where you can stay active and learn practical skills?

As a Yard Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping our equipment, vehicles, and materials organised, safe, and ready to go. Join us to contribute to high-profile developments and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Keeping the yard clean, organised, and running smoothly
Loading and unloading deliveries
Preparing tools, equipment, and materials for sites
Checking vehicles and equipment are safe and ready for use
Operating forklifts and moving stock around the yard
Keeping track of tools and equipment
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day yard tasks.

Qualifications

Reliable and hardworking with a positive attitude
Someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work
A team player who can also work independently
Good awareness of health & safety regulations related to groundworks and driving roles.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role.
Valid driving license.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred: Warehouse experience or familiarity with construction site operations.
