Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff/Waitresses to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service in a lively bar and restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in restaurant service is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in food and beverage service while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards, ensuring presentation meets company guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces regularly
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and process payments promptly
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while recommending specials or new products to guests
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times
Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs, answering questions about menu items, and resolving any issues promptly
Support team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Familiarity with serving procedures, upselling techniques, and guest service excellence will be highly valued
Strong organisational skills including time management are essential to handle multiple tables efficiently
Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
Good communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues alike
