Full job description

We are seeking a hardworking, motivated, and friendly individual to join our home. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring the home is clean, safe, welcoming, and comfortable for the residents who live with us.

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided – we are looking for the right attitude, reliability, and personal qualities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Support the delivery of high-quality care by carrying out daily cleaning duties in residents' rooms in a respectful, sensitive, and dignified manner.
Undertake cleaning duties throughout all communal areas of the home, including lounges, dining areas, corridors, toilets, and bathrooms, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Prepare vacant bedrooms for viewings and new admissions, ensuring they are clean, welcoming, and ready for occupancy.
Care for plants and flowers around the home and help maintain a pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and inspectors.
Manage linen deliveries and stock, ensuring clean linen is available and stored appropriately at all times.
Monitor and order cleaning supplies and COSHH-approved products, maintaining adequate stock levels and ensuring safe storage and usage in accordance with company policies.
Keep housekeeping stores, cleaning equipment, and stock areas organised and well maintained.
Follow all health and safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and COSHH regulations.
Complete all mandatory training required for the role and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments to provide a happy, clean, dignified, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Ensure the home remains presentable at all times and is prepared for visits from relatives, professionals, and regulatory inspectors.
