Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their purchases, providing product information, and contributing to an engaging shopping experience. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively with others.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
Provide knowledgeable advice on products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products that meet customer needs.
Maintain an organised sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills to process payments efficiently.
Assist in managing inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service.
Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
Organisational skills to maintain a tidy and well-presented sales environment.
Previous experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a genuine interest in helping customers find the right products.
