Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Site Maintenance Engineer to oversee the operational integrity and safety of our facility. This role is vital in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and infrastructural systems function seamlessly, supporting continuous production and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards of site performance. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, implementing maintenance strategies, supervising maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties

Lead and supervise maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical, and structural systems to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Conduct inspections of machinery and infrastructure, including welding repairs when necessary, to uphold safety standards.
Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system manuals to facilitate accurate repairs and upgrades.
Oversee installation projects, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and safety protocols.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Provide leadership in emergency situations by coordinating repairs swiftly while maintaining customer service focus with internal teams.

Qualifications

Proven experience in site or industrial maintenance with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Hands-on experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and reading schematics.
Skilled in welding techniques and mechanical repairs essential for infrastructure upkeep.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuit diagrams, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with supervisory or leadership experience.
Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
Customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize safety while maintaining operational efficiency.
Prior experience supervising maintenance staff or projects is highly desirable.
