Job Overview
We are seeking motivated individual to join our team as Trainee Commercial Body Builders. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills within the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. As a trainee, you will gain practical experience in body building processes, working under the guidance of experienced professionals. This paid role is ideal for those eager to start a career in vehicle modification and construction.

Responsibilities

Assist in the assembly and modification of commercial vehicle bodies according to specifications
Support senior team members with tasks involving the fitting and installation of body panels and structural components
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out various assembly tasks
Participate in heavy lifting activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Follow instructions accurately to ensure quality standards are met during all stages of body building processes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on workflows and procedures

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in vehicle construction is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively as part of daily duties
Good organisational skills and attention to detail, specifically around maths
Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
