Full job description

Job Overview

Crisperia is looking for a passionate, hardworking and reliable person who wants to learn every part of running a busy independent pizza kitchen.

Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is welcome, but it is not essential. Your attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are more important to us.

This is an all-round role. You will gradually learn everything from customer service and taking orders to food preparation, kitchen organisation, dough handling and making pizzas. We are looking for someone who is happy to support the team wherever needed and understands that every job is important.

This role would suit someone who wants more than just a temporary job and is interested in building a long-term career in hospitality or becoming a skilled pizza chef.

Responsibilities

Welcoming customers and providing friendly customer service
Taking orders and using the till and delivery-order systems
Preparing ingredients, sauces, toppings and other kitchen items
Learning how to stretch, top and cook pizzas
Following recipes, portion sizes and quality standards
Keeping the kitchen, equipment and customer areas clean and organised
Washing dishes and helping with general cleaning duties
Receiving and organising deliveries
Following food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures
Supporting other team members during busy services
Helping with any reasonable task required to keep the business running smoothly

The Person We Are Looking For

Passionate about food, hospitality and learning new skills
Hardworking, reliable and punctual
Positive and willing to take responsibility
Comfortable working in different areas of the business
Not afraid of cleaning, washing up or physical kitchen work
Calm and focused during busy periods
Friendly and confident when speaking with customers
Able to listen, accept feedback and improve
Interested in developing into a pizza chef or taking on more responsibility
Available to work evenings and weekends
