DO YOU ALREADY HAVE RECEPTION EXPERIENCE?

We are looking for experienced reception staff to work in our busy/friendly doctors reception team at our surgery in the Ironstone Centre, West Street, Scunthorpe. Booking appointments, answering enquiries, contacting patients for follow up and offering advice from the clinical team.

Working hours will be between: Monday - Friday 8.00am & 6.30pm - Part time. Actual hours will be discussed at interview. Some flexibility around holiday cover will be needed.

Although full training will be given to the right person, we are looking for individuals with either reception or customer service experience.

Summary

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential administrative support at the front desk. Your core skills in office and administrative experience will be vital in managing patient appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. You will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the healthcare team in delivering quality care.
