Learning Support Practitioner – Acorn Wood

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £13,750 - £15,939

Full Time: 25 hours per week

12 weeks annual leave per year.

Hours: 9:00am - 14:00hrs Monday - Friday.

Due to the steady and continued growth of our school, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic Learning Support Practitioners to join our independent special school in North Shropshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in a specialist, relational and child-centred environment.

Acorn Wood is a small independent day school located within the rural hamlet of Coton in North Shropshire. We provide education under Section 98 of the Education and Skills Act 2008 for children aged 5–16.

We are intentionally creating something different.
