Full job description

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in Care Workers to provide exceptional in home 24 hour care with in the Banchory, Alford and Tarland areas. The role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, house hold chores, health and wellbeing within the comfort and safety of their own homes.

These Live in position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to clients lives through person centred care and companionship. Candidates who posses a genuine passion and commitment to delivering high quality support in line with the Scottish national care standards and Scottish social services codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and grooming
Support with medication administration following prescribed medication guidelines
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Assist with mobility, moving and positioning and using tailored mobility equipment
Manage behavioural challenges associated with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive conditions
Maintain accurate records of care/Support provided and any changes in health needs
Support clients with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organising their living space
Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation

Experience and Qualifications

Previous care sector experience preferred but not essential as full training and mentoring will be provided .
Valid driving licence preferred but not essential
SVQ 2 or willingness to gain qualifications
Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
Ability to perform moving and positioning tasks
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
Flexibility to work various shifts as required for live-in arrangements

Pay: £185.00 per day
