Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment where your skills in hospitality and service will be highly valued. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
Manage cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills.
Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment, intervening when necessary to uphold safety standards.
Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, beverages, and other essentials.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles within restaurants or bars, is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse guests professionally.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic maths proficiency for handling payments and calculating bills accurately.
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy shifts.
A personable attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required; however, the role primarily involves shifts during operational hours. This position offers an engaging environment where your hospitality expertise can shine while providing memorable experiences for our guests.
