Drainage Engineer
London
£44-50,000

Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Drainage Engineer to work across a range of commercial and domestic projects, you will be responsible for attending sites to diagnose, maintain and repair drainage systems, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.

Typical duties will include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive drainage works
Responding to drainage breakdowns, blockages and emergency call-outs
Undertaking drain unblocking, cleaning and repair works
Operating drainage equipment including jetting equipment, rods and inspection tools
Carrying out CCTV drainage surveys and identifying faults
Investigating drainage issues and providing effective solutions
Repairing and maintaining drainage systems including pipes, gullies, traps and associated equipment
Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
Working safely in line with company procedures and industry regulations
Providing excellent customer service across commercial client sites

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Drainage Engineer / Drainage Technician
Experience within commercial drainage maintenance environments
Knowledge of drainage systems, repairs and fault finding
Experience using drainage equipment including jetting units and CCTV survey equipment
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Full UK Driving Licence
