Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food service, be smiley and bubbly while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing food preparation, team management, barista training and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Oversee food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure the café runs efficiently.
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive team environment.
Implement and maintain operational procedures that enhance productivity and customer experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the café environment.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or café setting.
Barista trained, must have at least 2 years barista training.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Previous experience in hospitality or barista roles is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
