Full job description

£150–£300 PER DAY | REGULAR WORK | VAN AVAILABLE | FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Chigwell Satellite Ltd is expanding and we are looking for experienced satellite, aerial, telecoms or Starlink installers to join our growing installation team.

Chigwell Satellite is an established satellite and connectivity installation company and currently carries out contractual Starlink installation work across South East England.

With demand for Starlink continuing to grow, and Amazon Leo satellite broadband installations also being added to our workload as the service rolls out, we are looking to recruit additional installers who want regular work and the opportunity to grow with the business.

THE ROLE

The majority of the work will involve:

Installing Starlink satellite systems at residential and commercial properties
Mounting Starlink equipment to walls, roofs, chimneys and other suitable locations
Routing and securing external and internal cabling
Setting up Starlink routers and basic Wi-Fi equipment
Testing installations and confirming systems are operating correctly
Taking required installation photographs and completing job documentation
Speaking professionally with customers and representing Chigwell Satellite on site

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Full training will be offered to successful candidates.

Previous Starlink experience is preferred, but it is not essential for the right person. Installers with a strong background in satellite, aerial, telecoms, CCTV, fibre, broadband or data cabling will be considered and trained in our Starlink installation processes and standards.

Further training will also be provided for installers who will be working on Amazon Leo installations as this side of the business develops.

EARNINGS

£150–£300 per day

Rates will depend on:

Experience
Number and type of jobs completed
Location
Distance travelled
Flexibility and willingness to cover a wider area
Whether you provide and use your own suitable van
Ability to take on additional work when required

Installers who provide their own van may qualify for a higher rate, while a company van can be supplied for the right candidate.

There is significant earning potential for installers who are experienced, reliable and willing to travel.

VEHICLE

Own van preferred, but not essential.

Installers with their own suitable van are welcome and this will be reflected in the rate offered. However, a company van can be supplied for the right candidate.

EXPERIENCE

Previous Starlink installation experience would be a major advantage, although we would also like to hear from experienced:

Satellite installers
TV aerial installers
Telecoms engineers
Broadband installers
CCTV installers
Data/network cabling engineers
Fibre engineers

You should be comfortable working at height, using ladders and carrying out external installation work.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE:

Reliable and punctual
Confident working independently
Professional with customers
Comfortable working at height
Competent using power tools and installation equipment
Able to diagnose basic installation and connectivity problems
Willing to travel where required
Interested in regular, ongoing work rather than occasional jobs
Willing to learn and complete the training provided

A full UK driving licence is required.
