This is a great opportunity to join our busy communications team. As communications lead for one of our key digital programmes (our electronic patient record) you'll create clear, engaging communications that explain what's changing, why it matters, and what it means for people's day-to-day work and care. You'll work with the programme team, senior leaders and clinical teams to plan campaigns, shape key messages and produce high-quality content across different channels. You'll help colleagues feel informed, listened to and supported through change, using feedback and insight to keep improving. If you enjoy fast-paced work that makes a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
The communications lead will be responsible for communications and engagement for our trust's electronic patient record (EPR) programme.
You'll plan and deliver clear, timely and accessible communications from early planning and readiness through to go-live and implementation. Working closely with communications colleagues and the programme team, you'll develop objectives, key messages and a comprehensive communications and engagement plan aligned to our trust's communications strategy.
The role requires strong judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex and sensitive information clearly to a wide range of audiences, including staff, clinicians, patients, carers, partners and the public.
You'll provide expert communications advice to senior colleagues, use insight and evaluation to improve communications, and contribute to building trust and confidence in our trust.
There is a requirement to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
