We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Minister to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing many aspects of the ministry including the youth and children ministry programs, providing spiritual guidance, and fostering a supportive environment for families and young individuals.
H-PAN (Hope for the Poor and Needy) is a faith based organisation and a UK registered charity with the aim of Alleviating poverty, advancing education and Christian Religion in the United Kingdom and Overseas. Our mission in the UK engages, equips and involves people from a wide spectrum. Our Manchester base runs a number of projects including Food bank, youth, education and training. Our constituency encompasses people from different backgrounds, race and ethnicity. But the dominant groups are BAME (Black, African And Asian Ethnic).
H-PAN has a number of arms that work to ensure the delivery of the overall objective of improving the quality of life of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities. We are also keen to promote the great foundation on which our work is based even our Christian faith. Source Of Life International Ministries is specially devoted in reaching out to the community and equipping the saints for the work the ministry.
The Minister of Religion shall perform spiritual functions associated with our beliefs and practices. Provide motivation, guidance and training in Christ like life for the members and the wider community.
This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with that challenges and wisdom required to work in a Christ centre environment. In additional to wisdom, power and gifts of the Holy Spirit, another even more important qualification is a high standard of Christ character. We also desire to work with someone who has great communication skills; experience of working in international communities.
The candidate must have worked as a deacon or leader in a Pentecostal Christian ministry and must have years of experience and if possible evidence of Bible training and knowledge.
Preferred languages includes Urdu, Hindi, French, Punjabi, and off course English.
Others useful skills includes ICT, basic working of accounting and administrative experience.
The responsibilities include:
•Providing counselling, emotional and spiritual support for the congregation and community members in time of crisis and personal emergencies.
•Teaching the word of God in church services as schedule in accordance with our religious beliefs.
•Researching and constantly attending trainings, retreats and seminars to improve your knowledge of the scripture and its teachings.
providing educational support to children and young people.
•Visiting with church members, people in the community and those that are not able to attend church services.
•Performing christenings, baptisms, funerals and other religious ceremonies as requested.
•Overseeing the care and maintenance of the church building and property, meeting with the governing body of the church and supporting church projects.
•Performing any other role that may be assigned by the Senior Pastor.
The Offer:
•Role will be based in Manchester, up to 5 minutes’ walk from Manchester Piccadilly station. and furtermore will involve
- Plan, organize, and lead youth group meetings, events, and activities
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons and discussions on faith-based topics
- Provide counseling and support to youth members in times of need
- Mentor and guide youth in their spiritual growth and personal development
- Collaborate with church leadership to align youth ministry with overall church goals
- Coordinate community service projects and outreach initiatives
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all youth participants
