Full job description

Cilla & Morgan is looking for reliable and detail-oriented freelance Property Check Specialists to support our growing client base across the Elmbridge area.

This is a self-employed / freelance opportunity ideal for individuals with experience in property inspections, property maintenance, inventory checks, property management, lettings, or for those willing to learn and grow with us.

At Cilla & Morgan, we help homeowners, landlords, and property owners keep peace of mind by carrying out professional property checks while they are away.

Our inspections include checking for:

Maintenance issues such as leaks, blockages, or broken fixtures
Safety hazards including smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors
Damp and mould detection
Overall cleanliness and general upkeep
Garden and outdoor conditions
Paint damage and visible structural concerns
Signs of pests, infestations, odours, or unusual activity
Visual physical damage and wear and tear

All findings are professionally categorised into:

Critical Priority
Medium Priority
Low Priority

What we are looking for:

Strong attention to detail
Professional and reliable attitude
Good written communication and reporting skills
Ability to take clear photos and provide accurate updates
Experience in property checks, inspections, cleaning, maintenance, hospitality, lettings, or similar preferred
Willingness to learn our reporting standards and processes

Requirements:

Valid right to work in the UK
Self-employed / freelance status
DBS check preferred as property access will be granted
Own public liability insurance preferably but not compulsory
Driving licence and access to transport preferred
Smartphone capable of taking photos and sending reports
