About the Role

About You

We are seeking an inclusive practitioner who is passionate about making a meaningful difference. You will be proactive, highly organised, and driven by high expectations, with a strong commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for all pupils.

You will be an excellent communicator and a collaborative team player, able to equip pupils with the skills and experiences they need to become confident, independent, and active learners, as they continue their journey towards a successful and fulfilling life.

You will be able to:

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of progression within your subject(s), alongside a commitment to staying up to date with developments in pedagogy.
Set ambitious and appropriate targets for pupils, with clear teaching objectives, structured lessons, and sequences that support all learners to reach their full potential, including in literacy, numeracy, and ICT.
Use engaging and effective teaching strategies that inspire curiosity, including skilled questioning, clear explanations, and purposeful use of resources.
Maintain high standards of behaviour through clear expectations, well-focused teaching, and consistent application of the school’s behaviour policy.
Build positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers.
