Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Cyclone and other related software will be crucial for this role.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for completion of 2D/3D CAD drawings in AutoCAD an/or Revit - working with the the Senior CAD Technician to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales. The role will entail:

Working on topographical surveys, measured building surveys and 3D Revit models.
Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on project requirements.
Ensure drawings are accurate and meet industry standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

The suitable candidate would have completed a BTEC HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying or CAD drafting and has:

Previous experience within a CAD role or similar.
Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards.
Associate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or CAD Drafting.
Demonstrative experience with Construction or Civil Engineering.
Competent with AutoCAD.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
