Full job description

Newplas Limited is currently seeking an experienced 7.5t Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our expanding operations in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver to become a key part of a thriving business dedicated to excellence in the building plastics industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

Efficiently deliver building plastics, 5m length boards/boxes, and underground drainage products.
Operate various vehicles (xlwb vans) as and when required, contingent upon specific load requirements and delivery locations.
Assist with the methodical and organised loading of vehicles prior to dispatch.
Perform manual handling (hand-balling) of goods at customer sites where a forklift is unavailable; a high level of physical fitness is therefore essential.
Maintain professional communication with customers and ensure all delivery documentation is accurately signed and dated.
Strictly adhere to all corporate health and safety guidelines and road transport regulations.
Willingness to undertake occasional overnight stays (subsistence allowance provided in cash) to remain compliant with driver hour regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

A valid 7.5-tonne driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points).
A valid Digital Tachograph driver card and up-to-date CPC qualification.
A professional, customer-focused demeanour.
Proven experience in a physically demanding, customer-facing environment is highly advantageous.
