Job Summary
The Assistant Hotel Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel runs smoothly. This position involves assisting the General Manager in overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for guest services, contributing to a positive experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing hotel operations, including food and beverage, events, reception and housekeeping
Supervise and train staff to ensure high levels of service and adherence to hotel policies.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for improving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the hotel premises.
Participate in human resources activities such as recruitment, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
Strong background in hotel operations with a focus on guest services.
Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members effectively.
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring and staff management.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the hotel's operational needs. This position is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in hospitality management while delivering outstanding service to guests from around the world.
Due to hotel location, having own transport is advantageous
