Full job description

Overview
We are seeking experienced SIA Door Supervisors and Security Guards to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidates will possess a professional demeanour, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining safety and security at various venues. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors alike. All positions are paid, and applicants must hold valid SIA licences.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security
Manage crowd control during events or busy periods
Use CCTV surveillance systems to observe activity and identify potential issues
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft or damage
Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid when necessary
Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
Record detailed incident reports accurately and promptly
Liaise with emergency services if required and assist with evacuation procedures

Experience

Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence is essential
Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles preferred
First aid certification is highly desirable
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically
Prior experience working in busy venues such as clubs, events, or public spaces is advantageous

Candidates must be organised, vigilant, and committed to delivering high standards of security. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience within the security industry.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
