Dental Receptionist/Administrator position available.

Full time position available. We would consider a minimum 3 days per week.

Immediate start could be possible.

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Salary will be based on the level of experience in this position.

Manor Dental Care are looking for a new team member to join our busy mainly Private Dental Practice in Wallington SM6.

Duties include:

Greet patients and welcome them in to the practice.
Make appointments for patients in person or on the telephone for dental and hygiene visits.
Be able to communicate comfortably and effectively with patients about money and accept payments for treatments in the appropriate manner.
Answer the telephone in a personal and pleasant manner and make telephone calls to patients as appropriate.
Be able to type letters if necessary.
Have patient records ready at the beginning of each session and file them at the end of each day.
Administer the patient recall system.
Be capable of using a computer system within the practice effectively. Operate the appointment system in the practice on the computer.
Be responsible for the input of new patient and change of address information onto the computer database.
Be aware of the importance of the receptionist’s role in ensuring that every patient’s visit is a pleasant and effective as possible.
Be dynamic and spot opportunities to bring new patients to the practice.

General

Ensure that medical emergency procedures, fire procedures, accident reports and the checking and maintenance of stock levels and equipment are maintained.
Help provide a comfortable, attractive, clean and uncluttered environment for the patients.
Maintain correct uniform and a professional manner and appearance.
Be flexible with hours of work in the case of a dental emergency.
