Part-Time Receptionist – Oddfellows, ChesterLocation: Oddfellows, Chester

Hours: Part-time (including weekends)

Pay: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experienceOddfellows is a unique boutique hotel in the heart of Chester, renowned for its warm hospitality, stylish surroundings, and exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional

Part-Time Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating memorable stays by delivering outstanding customer service from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional approach.
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Handle reservations, telephone enquiries, and email correspondence.
Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
Work closely with the housekeeping and food & beverage teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Resolve guest queries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.

What We're Looking For

Previous reception or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Confident using computer systems and learning new software.
A reliable team player with a flexible approach to working hours.

Availability

Weekend availability is essential.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
