About the Role

We're looking for a bold, brilliant, and boots on the ground General Manager to run our Bootlegger venue in Exeter. Think killer cocktails, roaring live music, vintage charm and an unbeatable vibe.We’re after someone who leads from the front, breathes hospitality, and knows how to create an atmosphere guests want to come back to night after night.This is a full-time role based on a 45-hour working week.

What You’ll Be Doing

Running the bar: planning rotas, placing orders, staffing, the lot
Driving performance: managing margins, hitting targets, and owning your P&L
Leading, inspiring and mentoring your team with confidence and style
Keeping everything safe, spotless, and beautifully on-brand
Planning events, promotions and unforgettable live music nights
Building relationships with local suppliers, acts and partners
Being the face of The Bootlegger Exeter – to staff, guests and beyond

A strong background in hospitality leadership, bar experience is a must

The Bootlegger Story 29,307 days after prohibition ended, restoring sanity and permitting the consumption of alcohol once more, The Bootlegger family opened the doors to our first bar on Gloucester Road in Bristol.
