Fish Fryer / Kitchen Lead – The Auld Bank Fish House & Bar, Eyemouth

Salary: Up to £35,500 per year (depending on experience) J

Job Type: Full-time

ollowing the success of the Harbour View Chip Shop, we’re excited to be opening The Auld Bank Fish House & Bar in the heart of Eyemouth.

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Fish Fryer / Kitchen Lead to take charge of our kitchen and help establish what we believe will become one of the area’s favourite places to eat.

What you’ll be doing

● Running the day-to-day kitchen operation.

● Frying fish and preparing our award-quality fish and chips to a consistently high standard. ● Preparing a simple but high-quality fish house menu, including seafood specials and homemade dishes.

● Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.

● Managing stock, ordering and reducing waste.

● Helping recruit, train and motivate kitchen staff as the business grows.

● Working closely with the owners to develop seasonal specials and improve the menu.

● Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently during busy service. We’re looking for someone who

● Has experience as a fish fryer, chef or cook in a busy kitchen.

● Can work calmly under pressure while maintaining high standards.

● Takes pride in serving excellent food every time. ● Has strong organisational and time-management skills.

● Is reliable, hardworking and a positive team player.

● Has knowledge of food safety and kitchen management.

● Wants to grow with an exciting new business. What we offer
