Full job description

SKILLED BUTCHER REQUIRED for countryside Farm Shop & Cafe:

We are looking for someone with the skills, experience and enthusiasm to join our current butchery team. Therefore we are seeking an individual who has great butchery skills, a highly professional attitude, and has an essential 5 star knowledge and practical drive for all Health & Hygiene requirements.

We are also keen to find an individual with the enthusiasm, flare and excitement for promoting home reared produce, and someone who can work strongly as part of a team and not just individually.

Duties would include:

Professional Butchery knife skills

Carrying out safe boning practises to current specifications.

Carrying out trimming of various cuts of meats and poultry.

Producing and monitoring portion controlled products.

Producing, maintaining and monitoring food safety standards to the highest of standards.

Retail Skills.

Ability to work with all species of meat.

Ideal Candidate:
