Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: The Royal Duchy Hotel, Cliff Road, Falmouth. TR11 4NX

Salary: Up to £13.25

Hotel: The Royal Duchy

Deadline to apply: 30th June 2026

Hours per week: 4 days - 25 hours

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Housekeeping department; we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Supervisor to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping operation.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will supervise a team of Room Attendants whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and ensuring that core standards are met within the housekeeping department. Previous experience of checking rooms is essential.

What will I be doing?

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to maintain 4-star quality standards
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance
Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Allocate daily tasks and manage staff schedules to ensure efficient workflow
Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
Report maintenance issues and follow up
Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
Support the Accommodation Manager

What are we looking for?

To successfully fill this role as Housekeeping Supervisor at The Royal Duchy Hotel, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience as Housekeeping Supervisor
Experience in a 4 star hotel environment
Excellent communication skills
Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
A neat and tidy appearance (hair and fingernails) and adherence to uniform requirements.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work on your own or in a team
