Full job description

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Business Support Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly. If you enjoy working across multiple areas, improving systems and taking ownership of processes, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

What you will be doing day to day:

Production Planning:

Schedule and coordinate work for the workshop. This is a key part of the role!

Purchasing and Supplier Coordination:

Raise and manage purchase orders.
Liaise with supplier to ensure timely deliveries. Whilst building strong relationships.
Ensure quotations are inputted accurately.

Additional tasks/projects:

General day to day operations to keep the business running smoothly

This is also a great opportunity to get involved with the below and develop the role:

Implement a ERP in to the business and shape processes going forwards.
Responsible for health & safety; ensuring risk assessments are kept up to date; staff training and anything else required.
Assist in the implementation and maintain ISO9001 standard.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in office, operations or coordination role essential.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident communicator with a proactive approach.
Strong Excel and general IT skills.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working cross-functionally.

It’s an advantage if you have:

Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Exposure to production planning or scheduling.
Previous ERP experience.
Previous experience working in an ISO9001 environment.
Understanding of Health and Safety Practices.

Our working hours are 7.30 – 5pm Monday to Thursday; 730pm – 1pm Friday.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
