Full job description

Administration Assistant

Hours: Flexible – 4 or 5 days per week
Working pattern: Either 9:00am–5:00pm or 10:00am–3:00pm, these hours can be discussed with the ideal candidate
Pay: From £13.50 per hour, rising to £14 per hour after successful completion of the probation period (3 months).

We are looking for a friendly, organised and confident Administration Assistant to join our team.

This is a purely administrative role, with responsibility for providing a welcoming and professional reception service alongside a range of day-to-day office and administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

Being the first point of contact on reception, welcoming visitors and dealing with enquiries
Answering and directing telephone calls and emails
Carrying out general administrative and office duties
Maintaining accurate records and updating information on our systems
Preparing documents, correspondence and other administrative paperwork
Supporting the wider team with general administration as required
Helping to ensure the reception and office run smoothly and efficiently

About you

We are looking for someone who:

Has strong IT skills and is confident using computers and standard office software
Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Is friendly, professional and confident when dealing with people
Is organised, reliable and able to manage their workload effectively
Has good attention to detail
Is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Previous reception or administrative experience would be an advantage
Experience working within a confidential environmental

Hours & benefits

We can offer some flexibility around working hours, with the role available for 4 or 5 days per week.

Hours could be either 9:00am–5:00pm or 10:00am–3:00pm, depending on the successful candidate and the needs of the business.

Pay starts from £13.50 per hour.
