Orthodontic Receptionist

Surrey Orthodontics Group – Farnham

At Surrey Orthodontics Group, we are passionate about creating confident smiles and changing lives through exceptional orthodontic care. Combining the latest technology with a patient-first approach, we are proud to deliver high-quality treatment in a welcoming and supportive environment.

We are currently looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organised Orthodontic Receptionist to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative experience who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Based in Farnham with ability to assist in Godalming and Cranleigh when required.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and professional manner
Manage patient check-ins, appointments, and diary scheduling
Handle incoming calls and respond to enquiries about treatments and services
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Process payments and assist with billing administration
Support day-to-day administrative duties, including filing and correspondence
Liaise closely with the clinical team regarding patient information and treatment updates
Ensure reception areas remain clean, organised, and welcoming at all times

Skills & Experience

Previous receptionist or customer service experience within a dental, medical, or healthcare environment is essential
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Professional, approachable, and patient-focused attitude
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
Confident computer skills; experience with dental software is advantageous

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
(Occasional rotating shift: 11:00am – 6:00pm)

Qualifications

Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent)
